An Afternoon with Author Alex Prud’homme: Discussion, Book Signing & Reception
Prud’homme’s latest project is a history of food at the White House.
Dinner with the President: Food, Politics, and a History of Breaking Bread at the White House examines key meals that helped shape America, and the central role food has played in the nation’s history, from George Washington and his slave - chef Hercules to the omnivorous Obamas and the fast - food friendly Trumps.

Annual Bicycle Parade
Participate in Watch Hill’s long-standing family tradition from a simpler time; don’t miss the annual WHMLIS Independence Day Bicycle Parade. Take your place along the parade route to cheer along the participants or join in the parade on your bike or by foot. The route travels from the Library on Everett Avenue down the hill, through the village along Bay Street and culminates at the Merry Go Round.
